NBA fans were shocked after learning the price of the Philadelphia 76ers amid their underwhelming start to the season. The team put together a Big Three with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Paul George to challenge for the championship this season, but after Embiid and George failed to stay on the court and losses piled up, fans have seemingly given up on the team.

X/Twitter account Legion Hoops reports that 76ers tickets are available today for as low as $2. This is way lower than the NBA standards and shocking considering that the 76ers are one of the most popular teams in the league.

Fans didn't hide their surprise (and jokes) about this situation and the section comment was flooded with all kinds of remarks. Some compared the 76ers ticket prices to the WNBA and even said that Caitlin Clark drew more fans to the arena than Joel Embiid.

"Caitlyn Clark has more pull than embiid 🤣," one fan said.
"Damn they are rivaling WNBA tickets," another fan said.

Others criticized that the team's two best stars haven't been able to play.

"Nobody wants to support two superstars sitting on the bench. But yeah, let’s act surprised," one fan sarcastically said.
"Makes sense for as overrated team as they are. Build around Maxey already. Embiid is a ball stopper," another fan said.

Two more mocked the so-called process the Sixers are going through to win an NBA championship and made fun of the beliefs they had about Paul George before the start of the season.

"But Paul George drives revenue lmfao," one fan said.

Joel Embiid, Paul George not available for Philadelphia 76ers against Orlando Magic

To add fuel to the criticism, the Philadelphia 76ers announced earlier on Wednesday that Joel Embiid and Paul George wouldn't be available to face the Orlando Magic.

PG was coming off his best game of the season against the Charlotte Hornets, scoring 29 points while shooting 10-for-16 from the field and adding eight assists. This was his second game after returning to the court on Saturday against the Pistons.

George is averaging 15.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2.1 steals per game in 10 games this season.

As for Embiid, he hasn't returned to the court since Nov. 20 when he clashed against the Memphis Grizzlies. He's only played four games this season, averaging 19.8 ppg, 7.5 rpg and 3.5 apg per game while shooting 37.9% from the field.
