Carmelo Anthony's ex-wife LaLa Anthony showed fans the warm welcome her son Kiyan Anthony received at Syracuse. The top-ranked prospect committed to his father's alma mater a couple of weeks ago, picking the Orange's basketball team over the USC Trojans to continue his basketball journey and everybody except USC officials and fans were ecstatic over that decision.
Fans gave it up for Kiyan as soon as he entered their arena. His mother LaLa captured the moment Kiyan stood up to get all the love from fans while leading them in their celebration.
"Syracuse showing so much love to @kiyananthony 🍊❤️," she captioned the post.

She also shared the Orange's post welcoming Kiyan home, adding a bunch of orange emojis.
Unfortunately for Kiyan's next team, they succumbed to Wake Forest 81-71, dropping to 6-7 in the season. They rank 17th in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) after this matchup and will return to action on Saturday against Florida State.
Kiyan Anthony is one of the most exciting prospects in the country right now and his next step will be crucial for his NBA aspirations. Meanwhile, his parents are very happy about his future and neither has stopped showing support to the future Orange freshman.
Carmelo Anthony shared his thoughts on Kiyan Anthony's decision
Carmelo and LaLa Anthony learned about Kiyan Anthony's decision at the same time in the premiere of the former New York Knicks' star podcast's second season. After his kid made his decision, Melo shared his relief about not having to wait any longer for Kiyan's choice.
"I was just waiting for you to say--it was just like time for him to, you know, no more flip-flopping. One day is this, one day is that. This situation, this visit, visits are dangerous, in great way, though. Because you go on these visits and they got to pull out all the stops, so everything looks good; everything sounds good, so you can't go off of what's offered.
"I'm glad that he decided to make this decision. I'm happy," Anthony said.
Carmelo Anthony is one of the most prolific scorers in the NBA history and his name will always be attached to greatness. His kid will have some big shoes to fill, but he hasn't been nervous about it. This can be one of the greatest stories in the league in a couple of years.
