The excitement surrounding Kiyan Anthony continues to soar each day due to the promising potential he brings to basketball. With Carmelo Anthony's son working on his craft, Carmelo's trainer Chris Joseph Brickley praised Kiyan's improvement during a workout session with LA Clippers guard Nah'Shon Lee "Bones" Hyland and New Heights Lightning's Christian Jeffrey.

Brickley uploaded a highlight reel of the workout session on Instagram, with the caption:

"@bizzybones vs @kiyananthony vs @_chrisjeff competing. Bones is so skilled and shifty! Kiyan is continuing to improve. And Chris stock has been rising all summer."

Carmelo Anthony responds to Kiyan Anthony's comments of beating him one-on-one at age 16

During a brief interview with Made Hoops, Kiyan Anthony was asked how a possible matchup between him and his father at age 16 would play out. The young athlete confidently put his chips on his ability to get the better of the former Denver Nuggets forward.

However, Carmelo Anthony responded to his son during the Jan. 18th episode of the "7PM in Brooklyn" podcast:

"Are you s***ting me? I'm f***ing with the fact that he believes that. He exudes that confidence. ... This man, he been thinking about this. ... So, no, f**k out of here, Ky. I'm speaking to my son so I don't want to curse, but f**k out of here. ... And also, he got some s**t at 16 that I wouldn't fathom doing at 16. I got to give him his flowers."

Kiyan Anthony, standing at 6-foot-5, plays for the Long Island Lutheran High School and led his father's team in the 2024 EYBL circuit, averaging 19.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
