After a sensational career as a player, Barkley took his talents to the studio, where he became one of the staples of TNT's "Inside the NBA" basketball show.

"I said well 'I really want to wind down'. They're like 'well we need you to stay at least x amount of years, three or four or five somewhere in there but we just want to make sure if you still want to keep working we want to sign for 10 years.'"

The legendary personality appeared on a recent episode of the "All the Smoke" basketball show. Barkley talked about how he's been honored to be a part of the TNT family. He also talked about how after his current contract is up, he wants to retire from covering the sport of basketball. Jokingly, Barkley said that he doesn't want to be doing this job when he's 70 years old.

"I said there's no chance I'm gonna f***ing be here in 10 years if I'm f***ing 70 years old and I said I will stay through the transition if y'all bid on the NBA and I said because you guys been great to me.
