The Phoenix Suns secured their first three-game winning streak in over two months, avenging an earlier loss to the Charlotte Hornets with a 120-113 victory on Sunday. The Suns, plagued by inconsistency this season, last achieved a streak of three or more wins in November when they reeled off seven straight victories.
In their previous meeting, the Hornets snapped a grueling 10-game skid with a 115-104 triumph over Phoenix on their home court. Sunday's game was tightly contested until the fourth quarter, where the Suns closed on a decisive 19-5 run to seal the win.
Devin Booker led the charge, delivering 30 points, eight assists, five rebounds and three steals. Kevin Durant came alive in the second half, finishing with 27 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Bradley Beal had a strong first half but was quieter after the break, contributing 15 points and six assists overall. Grayson Allen, Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro also chipped in with 13, 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Hornets put up a strong fight, even holding a 12-point lead at one stage. LaMelo Ball paced Charlotte with 25 points, 11 assists and six rebounds, while Mark Williams added a commanding 24 points and 16 rebounds.
Miles Bridges and Brandon Miller also made significant contributions, scoring 21 and 19 points, respectively.

The Charlotte Hornets had their last two games postponed due to the devastating LA wildfires, trimming a planned five-game road trip into just three games. Following a five-day break, the Hornets visited the Phoenix Suns, aiming to notch their second consecutive win.
The Hornets started strong in the first quarter, showing little sign of rust as they outscored the Suns 34-28 and led by as much as 12 points.
However, they faltered in the second quarter, allowing Phoenix to rally and build a lead as large as six points.
But the Hornets closed the quarter on a high note. Brandon Miller sank two free throws, Mark Williams completed a driving layup and LaMelo Ball added two more from the stripe, capping a 6-0 run to tie the game at 62 heading into halftime.
Williams had a dominant first half, posting 22 points and 13 rebounds while shooting 9-for-10 from the field. Ball also contributed 12 points and six assists.
For the Suns, Bradley Beal led the charge with 14 points, while Grayson Allen and Devin Booker each chipped in 13.
Charlotte continued their momentum into the third quarter, outscoring the Suns 36-31. However, their efforts were thwarted by Phoenix’s dominant 27-15 performance in the final period.
