Zach LaVine and Lonzo Ball are expected to play when the Chicago Bulls host the Charlotte Hornets at the United Center on Friday. The Bulls are coming off a three-game skid and will look to bounce back against LaMelo Ball and Co. The Hornets propped up a close 113-109 win against the Indiana Pacers earlier this week.
The Bulls also have two key starters on the injury report. Aussie point guard Josh Giddey (lower back spasms) and Nikola Vucevic (non-COVID illness) are questionable. The good news is the possibility of their star floor general and sharpshooter playing as the Windy City franchise looks to get back to winning ways.
Healthy and in-form Zach LaVine has no takers ahead of the trade window
Per recent reports, there aren't suitors exactly lining up to avail of Zach LaVine's services. NBA insider Brian Windhorst spoke of the wing's future with the Bulls on his latest episode of The Hoop Collective.

"He's having an excellent year. We know that he's been on the trade block for a year now, at least. Yet, I hear nothing about LaVine on the trade market and I don't think it's because the Bulls aren't interested in trading him."
Health and a massive contract have been roadblocks for LaVine. He rakes in $43 million this season and is set to make $45.6 million next year. His contract with the Bulls also includes a $48.9 million player option for the 2026-27 edition. His injury history has been a factor as well with the F/G shut down early on last season.
Zach LaVine is propping up All-Star numbers this season averaging 22.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per contest while shooting 50.6 percent from the field and 43.2 percent from the deep.
The Bulls are 10-15 as the NBA 2024-25 season hits the 25-game mark. They are 10th in the East and are tied with the Pacers and the Brooklyn Nets with the same number of wins.
