Chris Paul and LeBron James' daughters bond over basketball in Spurs star's latest post

Chris Paul and LeBron James are two of the best NBA players of this generation. Despite both being close to turning 40 years old, they keep playing at a high level and chasing championships, but the new generation is already working to keep their legacies alive.

On Thursday, the new San Antonio Spurs point guard shared a series of pictures on Instagram to hype up his debut in the 2024-25 season.

"Summer’s still too short…FAMILY still over everything…the days are still stacked…and still Blessed and Highly Favored…BACK TO WORK!!! #Year20" he captioned the post.

The fourth picture of the post shows Paul's daughter Camryn Paul getting ready to shoot the basketball while James' daughter Zhuri watches in the back.

Camryn Paul is 12, three years older than Zhuri James. She was born on Aug. 16, 2012, and her connection with Zhuri goes a long way back. During her 8th birthday, she celebrated with a movie night sleepover with friends that included Zhuri, per Adam England of PEOPLE.

Camryn is seemingly following in her father's footsteps, as Chris Paul announced in 2022 that she had started playing hoops.

As for Zhuri, she still has time to find her passions, but the 9-year-old is a good volleyball player. LeBron and Savannah James have attended her games and hyped her up whenever she took the court. Perhaps these two will lead a future generation of women's hoops just like their fathers did in the NBA.

Chris Paul made his official debut with the Spurs

After a lone season with the Golden State Warriors, Chris Paul signed with the San Antonio Spurs in the offseason to join forces with Victor Wembanyama. The duo had the chance to play together for the first time in the 2024-25 NBA season on Thursday, posting interesting numbers.

Wembanyama was one rebound shy of a double-double after scoring 17 points. Paul wasn't as active as a scorer, but he still got seven rebounds and eight assists against the Dallas Mavericks. Unfortunately, the Spurs couldn't keep up with the Mavs and lost the game 120-109.

Despite Paul's age, he's expected to make an impact on Wembanyama's numbers and career. He's still a solid playmaker, and having the chance to play with a player like Wemby could extend his career.
