Cleveland rebounded from a 134-114 loss to the OKC Thunder on Thursday despite playing without Evan Mobley.
Meanwhile, six Timberwolves players, led by Anthony Edwards' 28 points, finished in double-digit scoring. Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle combined for 37 points, 26 rebounds and 10 assists. The loss dropped the Wolves' home record to 10-10.

The Timberwolves leaned on a balanced attack led by Anthony Edwards. Naz Reid also came off the bench to give the hosts a boost. Minnesota led 32-29 at the end of the first quarter.
The first eight minutes of the second quarter was a defensive struggle. Even without Mobley protecting the rim, Cleveland kept Minnesota's rim attackers in check. Jarrett Allen altered shots and matched Rudy Gobert's impact in the paint. Neither team could get an upper hand as the first half ended in a tie at 60-60.
The Cleveland Cavaliers bared their teeth on defense in the third quarter, limiting the Minnesota Timberwolves to 19 points. Darius Garland had 10 points and two assists, while Donovan Mitchell had five points and three assists to lead the Cavs’ most impressive stretch. Cleveland took the lead 89-79 heading into the fourth quarter.
The Timberwolves gave their best offensive output in the fourth period but fell short. Anthony Edwards had 13 points and two assists in the final frame. Despite his impressive performance, the hosts lost 124-117.
