Six-time NBA champion Scottie Pippen continues to be active in the cryptocurrency world and posted another Bitcoin promo on X on Friday. In his latest post, Pippen uploaded an image of him asleep and referenced two Naismith Basketball Hall of Famers: five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant and two-time NBA champion Wilt Chamberlain in his caption.
“Just took a nap and Satoshi whispered 'Bitcoin will go closer to Black Mamba numbers before it goes back to Chamberlain,'” Pippen wrote.
It is unclear what numbers Pippen is referring to, but NBA great Chamberlain is the holder of the single-game scoring record. The seven-time NBA scoring champion scored 100 points on March 2, 1962. The feat is widely considered one of the sport's greatest records, as no player has surpassed it until this day. When he retired in 1973, he was the NBA's all-time leading scorer and rebounder.

Second on the list of most points scored in a single NBA game is Bryant for his 81 points on Jan. 22, 2006. Bryant is also a two-time scoring champion and the LA Lakers' all-time leading scorer. The post could be a reference to the NBA single-game scoring record numbers and Pippen could be using these numbers to predict the value of Bitcoin.
