LeBron James made what could be his last Olympic game memorable, winning the gold medal for Team USA alongside fellow NBA legends Steph Curry and Kevin Durant. Now a three-time Olympic champion, James posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, recognizing the trio’s iconic run by posting a fanmade artwork featuring them as the Paris Games go off to the sunset.
The artwork shows Curry, James, and Durant sitting beside each other with their Team USA jerseys in front of the Eiffel Tower, watching the sun set on the Paris Olympics.
"This is too 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥," James captioned.

Team USA took down host France in the gold medal game to win its fifth straight Olympic title. James was named the tournament’s MVP, while Curry and Durant played vital roles in towing their national squad to the finals, including a gutsy come-from-behind win against Serbia.
Fans reacted to LeBron James’ post as they acknowledged the star power that graced the Olympic games.
“That pic is EPIC,” said one fan.
“3 greatest players of our generation,” said another fan.
“Too damn fire man 🥹🥹 Can’t wait for that documentary to drop. The 3 greatest of our generation,” said one fan.
The iconic photo also drew comparisons to the Dream Team of 1992, featuring NBA greats Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson, whose Team USA iteration elevated the sport with their dominance against other countries.
“The closest we’ll ever be to that 92 feeling…. ,” said one fan.
Other fans also showed their appreciation of Team USA’s trio, acknowledging how special the recent Olympic Games were for longtime NBA fans who have followed Curry, James, and Durant in the past decade.
“We really are blessed to watch this holy trio cook together in basketball. 3 greatest players of this gen🤩🤩,” said another fan.
“This boutta be hung in every barbershop in America 😭,” said one fan.
LeBron James and Steph Curry both made it into the Olympics’ All-Star Five, alongside other NBA stars Nikola Jokic of Serbia, Victor Wembanyama of France, and Dennis Schroder of Germany.
LeBron James says 2024 Paris Olympics could be his last
With the Paris Games concluded, the Olympics will be moving to Los Angeles in 2028. However, Team USA will most likely be without its leader LeBron James in the next Olympic showcase.
James told reporters after winning the Paris gold medal that he will unlikely be joining Team USA when they compete in the LA Games, despite the city being his home since 2018 as he plays for its marquee franchise, the Lakers.
"I can't see myself playing in L.A." James said per Reuters.
It was a straightforward answer for the four-time NBA champion as he will turn 43 years old by the time the 2028 Olympics roll around.
LeBron James will now be heading into his 22nd NBA season, tying the record for most seasons played by a player. He will also be the oldest active player in the league next season.
