Throughout his two-decade-plus-long career, LeBron James has been called out by numerous people in and outside the media. Just recently, a professional fighter took a shot at the 20-time All-Star for some of his old comments.

While speaking with the media on Wednesday, Colby Covington started off by calling out the LA Lakers forward. He questioned his affiliations with hip-hop artist "Diddy" and his hiatus from social media.

"I wanna ask LeBron what does he mean by there's no party like a Diddy party," Covington said. "I truly want to know. And not only that, LeBron, how many Diddy parties have you actually been to?"
"Is that the reason you left social media because of all the backlash you were getting for going to so many Diddy parties?"

After Diddy was arrested earlier this year, people online began digging up all old celebrities and notable figures. Among those was LeBron James, who talked about his parties while live with him on Instagram.

Covington is a former Welterweight champion in the UFC and currently has an overall record of 17-4. This weekend, he is slated to step into the octagon with Joaquin Buckley.

Colby Covington has called out LeBron James in the past

Colby Covington's latest remarks are far from the first time he's jabbed at LeBron James. Prior to this, he had a long rant on social media regarding the NBA star's role in the Olympics.

For the first time since 2012, LeBron suited up for Team USA in international play. He led the men's basketball team's star-studded roster that also included Steph Curry and Kevin Durant. Along with competing, LeBron also had the chance to hold the United States flag during the opening ceremonies.

Following the conclusion of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Covington went on a long social media rant to share his thoughts. Among the things he was most outraged by was LeBron James' being chosen to be a flagbearer.

"You have captain I hate America LeBron James bestowed the honor of carrying the stars and stripes," Covington said. "When I heard he was going to be the one carrying his country's flag, I thought it was going to be for China."
"What happened LeBron? Did you finally give equality and justice to all those children and women sewing your shoes? Did you bring those jobs back to the States?"

LeBron secured his fourth Olympic medal and third gold medal in Paris this summer. On top of that, he was also chosen as MVP for the men's tournament.

As for Covington, he too has brought home gold for the U.S. in the past. Back in 2013, he represented his country in the World Grappling Championships and won his weight class.
