Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler changed his hair color ahead of their game against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday. Butler changed his hair color to orange, after it was blue for a couple of games, inviting mockery from fans.
Butler is rumored to be a trade asset for the Heat, reported by ESPN's Shams Charania. According to Charania, the Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets are potential trade destinations for Butler. On Wednesday, the ESPN reporter revealed the Phoenix Suns as another team that could trade for the Heat star.
However, his agent, Bernard Lee, denied the news about the Suns being another team that could trade for Butler. He called Charania's report "fabricated." Through all this, Miami's star still took the time to change his hair color.

Jimmy Butler prefers a contract extension amid the trade talks
Jimmy Butler's future with the Heat is uncertain. Over the summer, a contract extension was the hot topic around Butler.
According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, he believes signing a contract extension is still at the top of Butler's list. On Wednesday, Windhorst talked about the other options the two-way forward has.
“I think Jimmy Butler's preference would be to sign an extension in Miami,” Windhorst said, “He’d hoped to do that last summer but Pat Riley came out at the end of last season and said that's not what the Heat were doing.”
Butler's contract with the Heat is about to expire. He has one year left on his four-year, $184 million deal. During the 2024-25 NBA season, the All-Star is set to earn $48.7 million. After this, he has the option to opt out of his $52.4 million player option.
