On Saturday, both Doncic and Irving were spotted at Dallas’ training facility as the team prepared to take on Nikola Jokic and company. Doncic, recovering from a left calf strain, was seen engaging in on-court activities, working individually with the team’s training staff.

The Slovenian star got some shots up during the session, marking another significant step in his recovery from the challenging injury. Mavericks coach Jason Kidd expressed optimism, noting that Luka Doncic is putting in tremendous effort both on and off the court and that it’s great to see him back on the floor shooting.

Kyrie Irving was also present at the training facility on Saturday, participating in on-court activities as he continues to recover from a back injury. The one-time NBA champion has been sidelined for the Mavericks' last four games due to the issue.

Coach Jason Kidd expressed optimism about Irving's recovery, sharing his hope that the star guard will be ready to return to action in the near future.

"He did some shooting, and that was it…he’s trending in the right direction," Kidd said. "Hopefully we get him back soon."

Although Doncic and Irving's return to on-court activities is a significant boost for the Mavericks, both players will remain sidelined for the game against the Denver Nuggets.
