Dalton Knecht and the LA Lakers recorded a 117-108 win against the Miami Heat on Wednesday at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. As has become customary, coach JJ Redick brought Knecht off the bench, hoping the rookie could provide an offensive spark.
Unfortunately, the former Tennessee standout struggled to find his rhythm, continuing his recent shooting woes. Knecht's offensive struggles persisted as he finished with just two points on 0 of 4 shooting from the field, including 0 of 4 from beyond the arc.
The rookie managed to get on the scoreboard by converting both of his free throw attempts. In 14 minutes, Knecht added two rebounds and one assist, finishing with a plus/minus of -4.
