It was a quiet start evening for Damian Lillard as the Milwaukee Bucks went down 104-93 to the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center on Tuesday. The mercurial guard struggled to find his smooth shooting touch as he finished with 16 points on 6-18 shooting from the field and 2-9 from beyond the arc.
Lillard also recorded three rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and one turnover in his 38 minutes on the hardwood. Kyle Kuzma and Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 22 and 20 points respectively. The Bucks superstar came into the contest averaging 25.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 7.1 assists while shooting 45.0% from the field and 37.9% from the three-point line.
The loss sees the Bucks lose their second in a row. They have four more games on the road before returning home to host the New York Knicks.

"Gives me chills about how it happened": Damian Lillard reflects on journey from Oakland to an NBA superstar
Damian Lillard has already been pegged as a future Hall of Famer and has been one of the greatest sharpshooters of his generation. The 'Dame Time' moniker comes after his clutch gene saw him win countless games for the Portland Trail Blazers and the Milwaukee Bucks.
In a recent interview with The Athletic, the All-Star guard reflected on the success he's had since his formative ball years in Oakland.
“When I think about my journey, it wasn’t like everybody was on me because I was supposed to do what I’ve done. I was a regular kid. They knew I was good at basketball, but none of this was expected. So when I kind of think back on it, I always remind myself of how important the journey is. Everybody will look at where I am now, but when I think about the moments of the journey, that’s what gives me chills sometimes about how it happened.”
Now, the Bucks star will hope that he can find his mojo as Milwaukee look to make a deeper run in the postseason. Only time will tell if Damian Lillard can lead the side to a championship and win his first ring.
