Former NBA star Carmelo Anthony wasn't having it after the NBA's Instagram page tagged the wrong person. Anthony had a chance to catch up with his old buddies, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James in Las Vegas. James is with Team USA trying to capture another gold medal and his close friends decided to visit him.
The NBA account on Instagram posted a video of Wade, Anthony, and James together. The three former draftmates spent time catching up and talking to one another during one of Team USA's practices.
Interestingly, the account tagged a different Charlotte Hornets star point guard LeMelo Ball, who shares the same nickname as Anthony, a future Hall of Famer. The former New York Knicks star called them out in the comments section after the mistaken tag.

"I know I'm not in the league anymore, BUT d*mn, yall could at least tag the right person or leave the tags off," Anthony commented.
The NBA's IG account has since removed the tag of Ball after the mixup.
Anthony has been part of Team USA on multiple occasions. In 2008, he was part of the squad that featured some of the best players in the NBA. He had the chance to play alongside his friends, Wade and James, and won the gold medal.
The 2008 national team was led by the late Kobe Bryant, Jason Kidd and James. That was the only time the three close friends had the chance to play competitive basketball for the same team.
In 2012, Anthony and James returned to the roster while Wade had to undergo knee surgery.
Steve Smith on Carmelo Anthony's career
Carmelo Anthony was one of the best players of his generation and a future Hall of Famer. However, former player Steve Smith believes fans weren't able to appreciate Anthony's game enough during his active years.
"When we look back 20 years from now, we’ll say, 'We didn’t appreciate Carmelo Anthony enough,'" Smith said.
Despite incredible personal milestones, Anthony never won a championship. Still, his time in the league will not be forgotten as he was once a dominant offensive force.
