As far as LaMelo Ball is concerned, "dish" means throwing a picture-perfect pass that leads to a bucket. The All-Star guard, however, didn't like the way that a certain establishment delivered dishes to him.

On Wednesday, Ball went on X to ask a service-related question that he apparently found bothersome.

"since when hotels charge u to bring ya food up?? dats weird or im trippin?" Ball asked.

One netizen jokingly commented about Ball failing to realize that room service isn't free. The Charlotte Hornets star went on to cite Uber Eats, implying that he'd ordered the food elsewhere and was just requesting the hotel to have it brought to his room.

Another netizen accused the hotel of pulling a fast one on Ball, who wholeheartedly agreed.

"dats how i was feelin," said Ball in response to an online user who said the hotel "hit a lick."

For what it's worth, Ball posted the Tweet hours before the Hornets played a road game against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night. NBA fans who are eagle-eyed, diligent, or both might be able to deduce which establishment Ball was referring to.

Analysts: LaMelo Ball's All-Star push fueled by LiAngelo Ball's rise in popularity

Before his mini-tirade on the unnamed hotel, LaMelo Ball shared a tweet about his brother LiAngelo's inclusion in the Rolling Loud music event, which takes place in March.

Among the three Ball brothers, LiAngelo has commanded the most attention as of late. His hip hop track "Tweaker," released on Jan. 3, went from going viral on the internet to debuting at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100. Thanks to the massive popularity of "Tweaker," LiAngelo — who went undrafted in the NBA in 2018 — secured a record deal with Def Jam and Universal Music Group.

In the eyes of Michelle Beadle and Lou Williams, analysts for FanDuel TV, LiAngelo's momentum has had a palpable effect on his brother's All-Star push.

"I think Lou was onto it on Friday that LaMelo Ball's brother's burgeoning music career has somehow boosted the votes," Beadle said on the Monday episode of "Run It Back."

Beadle pointed out that Jalen Brunson is being outshone by Ball in the All-Star voting thus far:

"It does feel a little like, 'How is New York alone not getting these votes up?'"

The question of whether Brunson or Ball deserves to be the East's starting point guard is a debate unto itself. But the popularity of the Ball brothers, buoyed by a viral hit, is undeniable at this point.
