Dennis Rodman's ex-wife Michelle joined her daughter in criticizing the NBA legend's apology to Trinity after the soccer star said she didn't consider "The Worm" her father. After the former Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls and LA Lakers player issued a public apology for his daughter, Trinity quickly rejected it.
“Nice repost,” Trinity wrote on her Instagram story. “A joke. The response alone. And the attention. Wiping my hands with it. I’m done. Thank you.”
Her mother, Michelle, echoed those remarks, using one word, "truth," to validate her daughter's feelings and support her decision to be "done" with the NBA champion.

This was a response to Dennis' lengthy apology on Instagram where he said he was still trying to be present for his daughter regardless of time and distance.
“Sorry I wasn’t the Dad you wanted me to be but either way I still tried and I still Try and Never will Stop,” Rodman wrote captioned a post full of photos of them through the years. “I will keep Trying even when you’re being told as an adult not to respond to my phone calls. I will try even when it’s difficult and if it takes a long time. I’m always here And tell you all the time rather it’s your voice or voicemail how proud I am.
"I always had one wish and it was I wish my kids would call me and come see me. Hopefully one day I can get that. I’m here and I’m still trying pick up the phone you have my number, You see me calling, I’m still here Dennis RODMAN- Dad.”
On Wednesday, the Washington Spirits star joined the "Call Her Daddy" podcast to discuss her relationship with Dennis Rodman. Her words started this situation and it seems like there's no coming back for her.
Trinity Rodman explained why she lost hope of reconciling with Dennis Rodman
During her participation in this show, Trinity Rodman recalled that the family had to leave in their Ford Expedition due to Dennis Rodman's lifestyle, which affected her and her brother Dennis Jr.
She said that she gave up trying to reconcile with her father after she showed up at a Spirit NWSL playoff in 2021 but never reached out again. She explained that if she picked up her phone to talk to Dennis, she wanted her conscience to be clean, adding that Rodman "is not a dad" in her eyes.
