Kayla Nicole, the ex-girlfriend of NFL star Travis Kelce is hosting a donation drive on Saturday, to support women who have been affected by the LA fire. She called on well-wishers to send feminine hygiene products, toiletries, towels/washcloths, blankets and gift cards for those in need.

The Palisades Fire is one of the largest recorded as it has burned down an area of more than 21,000 acres with only 8% of the fire being contained. A state of emergency has been declared by Governor Gavin Newsom with federal aid announced for those affected.
Alaina Rose reacts to Derrick Rose's jersey retirement
Derrick Rose will be honored by the Chicago Bulls with a jersey retirement during the 2025-26 season. His wife Alaina Rose reacted to the announcement with a three-word reaction on her Instagram Story on January 5.
She reposted a post from ESPN's Shams Charania and captioned it:
"IN THEM RAFTERS!!!!"
Derrick Rose, who was the youngest MVP in league history, in 2011, will have his No. 1 jersey retired by the Bulls. During his time in the city of Chicago, he led the Bulls to a 62-win season and was a 3-time All-Star during his career.
He would join notable Bulls legends like Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Jerry Sloan and Bob Love who have their jerseys in the United Center arena's rafters.
Rose's time with the Bulls saw him average 19.7 points, 6.2 assists, and 3.7 rebounds in 406 games. The honor for Rose was announced for his contributions to the Bulls organization and the city of Chicago.
