"Watching a daughter use a garden hose to try and protect her 90-year-old parents' home because their insurance was canceled is gut-wrenching to me," he wrote "Does anyone else find it appalling that insurance companies can take billions of dollars out of communities for years and then, all of a sudden, be allowed to cancel millions of policies for the very people they became rich on?"

Perry continued to express his frustration with insurance companies and extended his support and prayers to all those affected by the wildfires. Hazel Renee also dropped her two cents on the subject as she commented on Perry's post with a similar message:

Along with the graphic, she included a message to help her followers understand how to phrase their donation requests appropriately:

"While donating and supporting various GoFundMe pages please please pass along this IMPORTANT message to family/friends so that the verbiage doesn't mess up any other funds they could receive in the future," she wrote.
