On Wednesday night, Luka Doncic put together one of his best outings since coming over to the LA Lakers. Following his stellar performance, a post went viral online regarding him handing out a signed jersey.
In the post which has now reached close to 70,000 likes on X (formerly Twitter), Kim Kardashian is revealing a signed Doncic jersey with a short message on it. However, this did not actually happen.
From one quick inspection, it is clear that Luka Doncic did not actually give the reality TV star his autographed jersey. The post is NBACentel, a known paradoy account that likes to throw off fans with fake posts that look real. This is just the latest instance, and it seems to have worked to perfection.

Kardashian does have close ties to the NBA and WNBA, as they have been business partners for over a year now. Back in 2023, her clothing brand "Skims" became the official underwear partner of both leagues.
As for Doncic, he led the charge for the Lakers against a Denver Nuggets team that was without Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. Thanks to this win, LA was able to jump ahead of them in the standings to reclaim the No. 3 seed with just a few weeks to go in the season.
Luka Doncic made LA Lakers history in win over the Denver Nuggets
Facing off against a shorthanded team, Luka Doncic didn't waste any time going to work against the Denver Nuggets. He came out of the gates red-hot, etching his name in franchise history in the process.
Doncic played every minute in the first quarter and ended up doing most of his damage for the night in this stretch. Through the first 12 minutes, he recorded 21 points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block on 7-for-11 shooting.
With this performance, Luka Doncic worked his way into the history books of the NBA's most historic franchise. He is the first player in Lakers history to record this stat line in just one quarter.
Behind this strong start from the start guard, the Lakers were able to break out to a big lead early and coast to a win. Doncic nearly ended the night with a triple-double, finishing with 31 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
Now with some time to gel with his new teammates, Doncic is starting to find his groove on the Lakers. In his first 16 games with LA, he is averaging 26.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 8.0 assists.
Doncic looking more comfortable on the floor is big for LA, as he is going to be a major catalyst of how far they are going to go in the postseason. Despite making this big trade mid-season, the Lakers are going to try and make a push for the finals with their new star duo.
