Lakers fans expressed frustration after LeBron James recorded another game plagued by multiple turnovers during the team’s embarrassing 127-100 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. LeBron struggled across the board, dealing with turnover issues, poor shooting and a noticeable lack of defensive effort.
Recently, the Lakers superstar has found it challenging to minimize turnovers while facilitating playmaking for his teammates. In the game against the Suns, the four-time NBA champion tallied 10 assists but also committed five turnovers.
The problem has intensified since coach JJ Redick moved D'Angelo Russell to the bench, with LeBron racking up 43 turnovers over the last nine games. Lakers fans, disappointed by this recurring issue, criticized the four-time MVP for his lackluster performances and high turnover rate.
"Don’t know why Lakers play the 3rd quarter. Let tm have a layup line, wide open 3s and Bron been hit with turnover bug. I’m going bck and watching Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix’s," analyst Shannon Sharpe tweeted.

"Lebron has been disgusting handling the ball. Turnover machine for like 2 weeks," a fan commented.
"Fr I’m glad LeBron barely hit for my other bet but damn it felt like he didn’t try at all. He had many chances to shoot but passed or turnover, Nurkic and Beal owned the 2h," said another.
"@KingJames way to give up! F*cking turnover machine this season. If any team wants to beat us, all you gotta do is double LeBron, he will turnover the ball," wrote another.
"Lebron on a turnover tear lately goddamn all started when he was chasing that consecutive triple double streak," wrote another user.
"And another f****** turnover by LeBron that's his fifth prior two games he had six and seven he is the reason his team is no good anymore face the facts," another user wrote.
LeBron James vs. Phoenix Suns
LeBron James logged 34:44 minutes in the Lakers' matchup against the Phoenix Suns, posting a stat line of 18 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists. However, the 20-time All-Star struggled with efficiency, shooting just 7-of-16 from the field, including 2-of-7 from beyond the arc. He also recorded a team-worst plus/minus of -30.
The Lakers endured their third straight loss and their first-ever defeat in the NBA Cup. With little time to regroup, JJ Redick's squad must quickly shift focus as they face the San Antonio Spurs in the second game of a back-to-back on Wednesday.
