Milwaukee Bucks head coach Doc Rivers recently compared Giannis Antetokounmpo to LeBron James. During Friday's media availability before the NBA Cup semifinals, the media asked Rivers about James' longevity. The Bucks coach understood how special LeBron is and was also impressed by what he does to help himself last this long.

Coach Rivers then revealed that at one point he told Antetokounmpo how special he was and how he is in his own category. Doc then said that the same applied to James with the way he's taking care of his body.

"Like I always tell Giannis [Antetokounmpo] when we start watching film together, I tell him all the time "You're a one of one,"" Rivers said. "We've never seen anybody like Giannis. We've never seen anybody like LeBron [James]. LeBron is deadly serious about taking care of his body. Most people wouldn't do what LeBron does off the floor and that's why they don't last. LeBron has decided to do it all.”

LeBron James' 40th birthday is coming up on Dec. 30. While not many players have lasted as long as James did, the way "The King" has performed so far this season has been impressive. Yes, there were a few games that fans could tell that his age was showing. However, for the most part, James manages to turn back the clock and still perform at a high level.

Out of 24 games in the LA Lakers' season, LeBron has only missed one. Despite being the oldest player in his team, he's still the Lakers' leader. James is averaging 23.0 points, 9.1 assists and 8.0 rebounds per game.

LeBron James' scoring numbers have dropped, but his efficiency on the floor is still up to par compared to previous seasons. James is still capable of setting up his teammates efficiently, especially Anthony Davis.

In terms of responsibility, LeBron James has already passed the torch to Davis to carry the team. AD, who also only missed one game so far, is averaging 27.5 ppg, 11.2 rpg, 3.5 apg, 2.0 bpg and 1.3 spg. But given how their numbers aren't too far apart from each other, it's clear that LeBron still has something left in the tank.
