"Don't do that n***a" - Alleged leaked audio captures Russell Westbrook fuming at Rudy Gobert after altercation with Nuggets teammate

An altercation took place during the Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves game on Friday involving center Rudy Gobert. With around five minutes left in the fourth quarter, Nuggets wingman Christian Braun dunked over Gobert. Braun then celebrated his basket by flexing on the Frenchman.

This caused Gobert to push Braun by his neck, which then prompted several players to get involved. Russell Westbrook ran towards the baseline, where Gobert was standing, and yelled at the Wolves player.

On Sunday, the YouTube page LegendZ Productions posted a video with audio of what Westbrook allegedly said to the Timberwolves center.

"Don't do that s***," Westbrook allegedly said to Gobert. "Don't do that n****. That's bulls***."

Aaron Gordon was also allegedly heard saying, "You got dunked on" to Gobert.

When Christian Braun dunked on Rudy Gobert, he increased the Denver Nuggets lead to eight (110-102). However, the Minnesota Timberwolves managed to come back in the final five minutes, narrowly winning the game by three (119-116).

Gobert finished the game with 17 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks. The French center's performance complimented superstar Anthony Edwards, who scored 29 points, grabbed four rebounds and had four assists. Julius Randle also played big for the Wolves, scoring 23 points, grabbing six rebounds and dishing seven assists.

Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic, Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Gordon had huge performances for the Nuggets.

Jokic nearly got a triple-double with 26 points, nine rebounds, 13 assists and three steals. Porter Jr. finished with the same amount of points as Jokic and he also added six rebounds and four assists.

Aaron Gordon was the game's leading scorer with 31 points. Additionally, he grabbed 11 rebounds. However, the Nuggets could not hold on to their lead and fell to 3-2 with the loss.

Rudy Gobert talked about the altercation between him and Christian Braun

After the game between the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves, Rudy Gobert interviewed with SportsCenter. During the interview, Gobert was asked about Christian Braun's dunk.

"He dunked on me, that was incredible," Gobert said with a giggle. "What happened after the dunk was what I didn't like. The dunk was great, I mean it's part of the game. I respect him, it was a nice dunk." (1:44-2:04)

Gobert is not a stranger to altercations. Last season, he was involved in a scuffle that led to him being placed in a headlock by Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green.

Green received a suspension while Gobert was fined $25,000. Ex-Warriors player Klay Thompson and Timberwolves defensive ace Jaden McDaniels were also fined the same amount as Gobert.
