Gilbert Arenas' son Alijah Arenas is rising quickly among the top high school players in the country and Gil's wife Melli Monaco has been loving his journey. Alijah made a hyped-up play in one of his Chatsworth High School's games and Monaco, along with former NBA players, were left in awe of the player.
Monaco posted two videos of Alijah Arenas' thunderous dunk on her Instagram story. The play showed the son of the former NBA player taking the ball full court toward the basket. He beat his primary defender outside the perimeter and went on to posterize the shot blocker.
"Don't play with my boo 😤," Monaco wrote in the caption.

Monaco posted the video from another angle, giving a closer look at the massive dunk by Arenas' eldest son. However, the extended video also included the reaction of Kobe Bryant's former LA Lakers teammate Nick Young.
As soon as Alijah threw down the massive dunk on his defender, Young moved away from near the basket and started laughing in bewilderment.
"A better view 😤," Monaco wrote in the caption.
"(Nick Young) was terrified. 😱."
Kobe Bryant's other former teammate, Matt Barnes, also gave props to the young high school star. Barnes commented on a post on Instagram, sharing his feelings about the dunk.
"Damn," Barnes wrote in the comments.
