"Donald Trump is the Grinch that stole Christmas" - Mavs minority owner Mark Cuban gives damning indictment on former POTUS to Kamala Harris

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban keeps going after Republican party presidential nominee Donald Trump. In a Wednesday conversation with Democratic party candidate and current U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, the businessman went in on Trump's proposed tariff policy.

"So here's kind of the angle I was looking at. I've known Donald Trump 25 years. He used to be okay on trade policy, but over the last 25 years, he's just lost it," Cuban said (1:55 mark).

Harris added that Trump doesn't pay attention to the details, which is crucial to being the President of the United States. She said that he can give speeches wherever he wants, but when it comes to his policies, he's taking a radical approach when they're not needed.

Cuban doubled down on his comments and compared Trump to the Grinch, the famous character who stole Christmas in Theodor "Dr. Seuss" Geisel's book. He said that with his policies, small companies will be forced to close.

"It makes no sense to me whatsoever," he said. "To me, I think Donald Trump is the Grinch that stole Christmas. This time next year, we're gonna be thinking about Christmas presents for all of our kids, and if he puts a 60% tariff on everything from China, those prices are going up. And now, all of a sudden, your vision of everything you wanted to have for your kids at Christmas is gone. Donald Trump just crushed it."

Trump's tariff policies propose up to 20% of this tax on goods from other countries, 60% on all imports from China and even a 200% tax on some imported cars, according to Ben Chu of BBC. The billionaire maintains that these policies will protect jobs and raise tax revenue, adding that the taxes will cost another country, not America.

Cuban and Harris are all against that and neither minced words during their discussion.

Mark Cuban calls out Donald Trump over remarks during Michigan rally

Besides slamming his tariff policies, NBA champion owner Mark Cuban lashed out against Donald Trump for threatening not to pay the company responsible for his microphone issues during a Michigan rally. He said that it wasn't the first time that Trump did or threatened to do something similar, as he's 'taken advantage of hard-working Americans' before.

Cuban and Trump go a long way back and their rivalry has reached new levels ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election. The big day is drawing closer and everybody's trying to do their part.
