Nikola Jokić's favorite song is Donald Trump's Adin Ross stream entrance banger, says Nuggets' $3.3M player

Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokić has been one of the best players in the NBA for years. The Serbian native is also known for being extremely nonchalant during games and his media availability, but teammate DeAndre Jordan pulled back the curtain on the music that Jokić enjoys to hear in the locker room.

Jokić is a force to be reckoned with in the league, having won three of the last four MVP honors and a championship in 2023. He has put himself in the conversation for the league's top award anew, amongst recent competition in the Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Oklahoma City Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Jordan, another decorated NBA veteran, serves as Jokić's backup and apparently the curator of the team's tunes, according to him.

On his appearance on the Fanduel TV show Run It Back earlier today, Jordan talked about the song requests that Nikola Jokić submits to him and Peyton Watson, the self-proclaimed locker room DJ's.

"Any time Nikola requests a song, as long as its not Serbian folk music, it is 'Many Men' by 50-Cent and he knows the words from start to finish," said Jordan about Jokić's music preferences.

Run It Back co-host and former NBA player Lou Williams laughed at the song preference saying:

"Even though that's a rap song, that's very Serbian of him still."

This isn't the first time that the 3x MVP has made efforts to integrate himself into American pop culture. Michele Beadle, another co-host on the show, mentioned a time when Nikola looked into the mirror and said "I am Tyson Fury" after the fighting legend retired.

Nikola Jokić's music and play on the court might fuel another deep playoff run for the Nuggets this year

After capturing the Denver Nuggets' first NBA championship in 2023 over the Miami Heat, the team had a relatively underwhelming postseason in 2024. The team ended up falling in the second round to the Minnesota Timberwolves despite Jokić's otherwordly efforts down the stretch of the seven-game series. So far this season, the Nuggets have played well, putting themselves right back in the mix in the Western Conference.

Jokić is putting up MVP-caliber numbers yet again this season, averaging 30.6 points, 13.2 rebounds, and a career-high 9.9 assists, playing in 34 of the Nuggets' 40 games so far this season. He has his team squarely in the middle of the playoff picture in the West, sitting in the 4th seed with a 24-16 record.

Whether it's a desire to redeem themselves after last postseason or moving to a different groove in the locker room, the Nuggets are a force to be reckoned with Jokić leading the way.
