Former teammate and close friend of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, shared a touching tribute following Bronny's draft selection. The dream of most fathers is to see their kids achieve their own, which is why Wade understands the special moment that the James family is on right now.

The LA Lakers used their 55th pick to draft Bronny and made history. Both Bronny and LeBron will play in the league at the same time, and possibly for the same team, which will happen for the first time in the NBA. Additionally, they have a chance to be the first father-son duo to actively play in the league.

Wade didn't get a chance to experience that since he didn't play long enough, and his son, Zaire Wade, has a different path. But that didn't stop the former Miami Heat star from congratulating the two players. The Heat legend shared a Bleacher Report post on his Instagram stories.

Wade and James were teammates with the Heat from 2010 to 2014 and won two titles together. However, they've been close friends even before that since they were drafted in the same year. The two basketball icons and their families are close together and have spent numerous times hanging out together.

Dwyane Wade's son, Zaire Wade, showed a ton of promise during his high school days at Mount Carmel High School in Chicago. However, he often transferred schools when he was in high school. He spent his second year playing high school basketball at American Heritage School in Florida. Wade stayed there for two years.

Then, he moved to Sierra Canyon, the same school that Bronny played in. However, he didn't finish high school playing days there, as he transferred to Brewster Academy in New Hampshire. Wade received attention from colleges during his final year in high school but opted to go pro.
