Drake is one of the most popular artists of this generation and the official global ambassador of the Toronto Raptors. On Friday, he celebrated his son Adonis' seventh birthday. Drake shared a video on Instagram of the two playing basketball on the rapper's court. Adonis rocked former Raptors Pascal Siakam's #43 jersey while scoring buckets on Drake.
The video showed the father-and-son duo in the middle of a competitive matchup. Drake regularly shares snaps and videos of Adonis on his social media handles.
"Big ADI day. Happy Birthday kid, seven years old, probably some of my last videos getting any buckets," Drake posted.

Raptors Official Global Ambassador Drake shared snaps of attending his son's soccer game
Drake shared snaps of his son's soccer game in June. He captioned his post with a cryptic message.
"Goats don't worry about one trick ponies," Drake's caption read.
At the time, Drake was coming off a long rap feud with artist Kendrick Lamar where the two released several diss tracks aimed at one another. They had some previous feuds but nothing that lasted months like the one this year.
Lamar's popular singles included "Not Like Us" and "Meet the Grahams," while Drake's popular singles included "Family Matters" and "The Heart Part 6."
Drake joked about the Raptors coach after not attending a home game for some time
During a Group Play game between the Celtics and the Raptors in the In-Season Tournament, Drake joined his hometown's commentary team on the court. In his segment, he jokingly confessed:
"Boys, I feel like I'm in a time-lapse right now. First of all, this guy's not Nick Nurse. I haven't been here in a while."
Darko Rajakovic was previously the Grizzlies' assistant coach before being named the Raptors' newest head coach. Nick Nurse was fired after the team finished with a 41-41 record in the 2022-23 season. He was originally an assistant coach to Dwane Casey in 2013 before getting the head coach position on Jun. 14, 2018.
Nurse was pivotal in delivering the franchise's first NBA title in 2019 after defeating the Golden State Warriors in six games of the finals.
It was a highly competitive game, but Toronto lost disappointingly 108-105. Pascal Siakam and Dennis Schroeder were still with the team then, and they combined for 46 points.
The Raptors shot 48.3%, including 36.4% from 3-point range.
