Draymond Green is angry at speculation about the absence of teammate Andrew Wiggins, who has not played with the Golden State Warriors since Feb. 18. The team has excused Wiggins' absence as a personal matter, but their respect for his privacy has fueled conjecture.
"Sometimes people disgust me," Green said on his podcast.
The Golden State Warriors (37-36), the defending NBA champions, are sixth in the Western Conference. They won just their eighth road game this season on Monday against the Houston Rockets 121-108. The team has struggled away from its homecourt, going 8-29, with two of those wins at lowly Houston.

Draymond Green on 'thirsty' haters
Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors have survived Andrew Wiggins' absence for the most part. This is thanks to elite play by the team's starters leading the way.
But the Warriors have not forgotten about Wiggins as they continue to show their support for their teammate.
Green was critical of the people on social media who were spreading rumors about the reasons behind Wiggins' absence.
"Imagine you were missing time at your job and somebody started a whole rumor about ... like your kids not being yours," Green said.
The timing of the rumors is inconsiderate of Wiggins' privacy. Due to his extended absence from the team, some fans have started to question the reason behind his time away.
In the 37 games that Andrew Wiggins has played this season, he has averaged 17.1 points (47.3% shooting), 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
