Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green recently shared his thoughts on Derrick Rose during an episode of his podcast, "The Draymond Green Show," on Wednesday. The four-time champion discussed Rose's potential Hall of Fame snub and expressed his admiration for the former MVP.

During the Jan. 8 episode, which also featured his co-host Baron Davis, they covered various topics, including Derrick Rose's NBA career. An X (formerly Twitter) handle, 'NBA Central,' posted a snippet of the episode with a brief caption.

"Draymond Green says Derrick Rose is a Hall of Famer," the caption read.

Draymond Green and his co-host dug deeper into this subject during the podcast, with the latter giving a shout-out to the Bulls legend:

"Shout out to Derrick Rose, he is just so cold," Davis said. "That fool was postin me up. They were throwing it to him on the block, bro turn around and shot a bank shot fade I was like 'bro who are you?'" the former NBA star continued.

Continuing his praise for Rose, Green recounted their first meeting during a Team USA training session in 2014, where Rose caught him with a side-step move. Expressing his admiration for Derrick, the Warriors star shared:

"That's crazy to see that type of athleticism up close," he said. "To go to Chicago, get drafted as the number one pick, become the MVP in your city, and then to accept with grace when it came to an end. If you win MVP in the NBA, you're a Hall of Famer."

Former coach Tom Thibodeau expresses his views on Rose's Hall of Fame potential

Derrick Rose was showered with thousands of roses by fans and players alike during the Chicago Bulls' tribute to their former MVP on Jan 4. The Bulls hosted Rose's former team, the New York Knicks, on that day and dedicated the game to him, labelling it "Derrick Rose Night."

Current New York Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau, who managed Rose during his stints in Chicago and Minnesota, shared his thoughts on Rose's Hall of Fame credentials when questioned during the event:

"Big games, playoff games, games that are meaningful, he went to a different level, and he did it against the best. Very authentic, did it his own way. Unrelenting, never give in. I always say the true measure of a man is how he handles adversity, and nobody did it better," Thibodeau said. "I'm thrilled for him for the career he had. I think he's a Hall of Famer. There's no question in my mind that he's a Hall of Fame player."

The night was of special significance for Rose as he returned to the United Airlines Center for one last hoorah. During the celebrations, Rose's number 1 was retired and lifted into the rafters, marking a fitting tribute to the Chicago Bulls' last MVP.
