Draymond Green’s wife Hazel Renee posted a life update on Wednesday, showing off her sleepy look in a candid selfie. Renee shared a picture that summed up her sleepless night.
“Sleepy…but this mind be pacin,” Renee wrote.
Renee’s update comes as her husband Draymond Green is recovering from a mild calf strain amid the Golden State Warriors’ regular season struggles. According to ESPN, Green had an MRI on Sunday and will be reevaluated in a week.

She witnessed Green and the Warriors' dynastic run in the past decade. Renee and Green started dating in 2018, the year Golden State picked up its third title in four years.
In 2020, the couple had their first child, Cash Green, before tying the knot in 2022, just months after the Warriors won their fourth NBA championship. Green and Renee had their second child in December 2023, who they named Hunni.
Green is in his 13th season and is averaging 8.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game. His defensive brilliance continues to be felt by Golden State when he is on the floor as he is also putting up 1.1 blocks and 1.0 steals.
Golden State Warriors miss Draymond Green on the floor, says HC Steve Kerr
Steve Kerr has been with the Golden State Warriors for 10 years, overseeing the development of Steph Curry, Draymond Green and former Warriors guard Klay Thompson en route to winning four titles together. When they lost Green due to an injury amid their slump, Kerr knew Green would leave a considerable hole in their system.
Before their 125-85 loss to the Boston Celtics on Monday, Kerr said that the team would adjust in ways that could alter its identity.
"He's such a unique player," Kerr said, via Reuters. "He's one of the best playmaking bigs in the league playing with Steph (Curry). When he goes out, we become more traditional, spread the floor, put shooters out there.
"Steph and Dray have such a connection that when they're together out there, they're playing their game and we're playing our game. As soon as Draymond leaves the floor, it becomes a different game.”
The Warriors are out in the playoff race as they are 11th in the Western Conference with a 21-22 record. They are on a two-game losing skid and have only won four of their last 10 games.
