Fans trolled the side-by-side photo of San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama and Brazilian soccer star Vinicius Jr. of Real Madrid on X.

The images that the Real Madrid star posted are with musician Rihanna, NBA legend and former Knick Carmelo Anthony, a picture in the middle of New York and a photo with Wembanyama.
The last picture caught the attention of NBA fans on X, mainly because of the height difference between the two athletes. Wembanyana is 7-foot-3, and Vinicius is 5-9.
"Dude looks like (dwarf) beside Wemby," a fan said.
"The last frame lmaooooooio," a fan commented, referencing Vinicius' photo with Wembanyama.
"This is insane 😂😂," another fan wrote.
Other fans commented about Wemby's height.
"Wenbayama is too damn long," a fan posted.
"Wenbanyama I see how possible you get good blocks 😂," a fan said.
"It’s always funny when you see footballers standing beside basketballers," another fan posted.
Vinicius, likewise, posted the same set of images on his Instagram account. In his Instagram story, he posted a photo of the exchange of signed jerseys between Wembanyama and him.
"New LEGEND! @wemby," Vinicius captioned.
The Knicks spoiled Christmas for Wembanyama and the Spurs as they escaped with a 117-114 victory behind Mikal Bridges' season-high 41 points. Wembanyama led all scorers with 42 points on 51.6% (16-for-31) shooting, including 37.5% (6-for-16) on 3-pointers. He also broke San Antonio's record for most points on Christmas. LaMarcus Aldridge had 33 in 2016.

Victor Wembanyama's towering presence
In 2024-25, Victor Wembanyama is listed as the second-tallest NBA player. According to NBA.com measurements, he got shorter this season after being listed as 7-4 last year. Wembanyama tied Boban Marjanovic (7-4) as the tallest NBA players last season. Memphis Grizzlies rookie center Zach Edey (7-4) holds the title this season as Marjonovic now plays in Europe.
Wembanyama's towering height translates to his play on the court. Just recently, he recorded the second 10-block game of his young career. He recorded the milestone in the Spurs' 114-94 victory over the Portland Trailblazers on Sunday. He is the first player in NBA history with 10 blocks in two games before turning 21.
Further, he holds San Antonio's franchise record for most consecutive games with a block (62 games). Wembanyama also joined five other NBA greats as the only players to record 30 points and 10 blocks in a game.
Fellow NBA players have also noticed his towering presence. Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro called Wembanyama's length as "crazy."
Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs will look to snap their two-game losing streak as they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Friday.
