NBA legend Dwyane Wade got called out by fans after his remark regarding Noah Lyles' gold medal win on Sunday at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Lyles impressed many sports fans after he finished on top of the 100-meter dash, making him a world champion sprinter. However, Wade had something to say on social media after his win.
Lyles became known for his August comments about the NBA lauding its title winners as "world champions," putting him on the radar of basketball fans. The runner got the attention of some of the biggest basketball stars around the association.
In his recent race, all eyes were on him. Team USA even attended his race to see how he'd perform. After winning gold, Wade had a different way of celebrating the win on X (formerly Twitter). The former Miami Heat star had something to say about Lyles' painted nails.
"And he got his nails painted 🤣 Say something," Wade tweeted.

Dwyane Wade picks teams that could pose a threat to Team USA's mission to win gold
Team USA is on a mission to win gold in this year's Olympics. However, this year is different since there's been a generous amount of international talent, and the Americans have to face various challenges each game.
Former Team USA member Dwyane Wade shared which teams he thinks pose a threat to the US winning gold this year.
"I mean, obviously, Germany and Canada. From the naked eye, you would think those two teams are probably the biggest threats," Wade said.
Both Germany and Canada have been undefeated, much like Team USA. They also have a great pool of NBA talent on their rosters.
