On Tuesday, former NBA star Dwight Howard reignited his beef against legend Shaquille O'Neal. Howard posted a video of dancing with little people dressed as the iconic DC Comics superhero, Superman. The trio danced to the 2007 hit song "Crank That" by Soulja Boy.

Howard even tagged O'Neal in the caption of the video that he shared on his podcast's Instagram account, "Above The Rim with Dwight Howard." According to the caption that the former star had on the post, he was dancing "with the real Supermen."

"Dwight Howard cooling with the real Supermen @johnlferguson @little.rep @shaq," Howard wrote in the caption.

However, the noise Howard made online did not seem to bother Shaq, as the big man ignored it. On his Instagram account, O'Neal remained quiet and did not comment on the post.

Both big men use the nickname Superman. However, O'Neal doesn't want to share it and claims that he's the real Superman between the two of them.

Albeit he was silent on Instagram, Shaquille O'Neal made a big splash on X (previously Twitter). The former LA Lakers big man initiated by accusing Dwight Howard of caring for him. The two had a lengthy back-and-forth on the social media platform about which one of them cared more about the other.

"@DwightHoward the fact u think I care about u is funny, but I won’t ever bring your name up again sensitive big man, a jokester that can’t take a joke. Won’t ever say your name again ever again. Have a great day and now u have been deleted. Have a great day," Shaq started.

The former Orlando Magic star retaliated and had many things to say about his 52-year-old rival.

"I know you care. Cuz yo insecure ass been hating and talking shit for 20 years," Howard replied. "You to big to be this insecure. I hope you don’t bring my name up again. 52 years old tweeting me. And still hating. Now all this time you was joking. You always been jealous. Jealous of Kobe, penny, dwayde. You jealous of Charles too. Go move around big lazy insecure *ss. I still have that long 5 Paragraph direct message you sent me a couple years ago telling me that I’m not that great to hate. And you still doing it. It’s 2025 grow the hell up. and move on."

O'Neal tried to get Howard back in his next reply, but it didn't get any attention from the younger big man.

Instead, he wants to move on and put their problems behind them. The former top pick of the 2004 draft even asked Shaq to be a guest on his podcast to settle their differences.
