Listed at 7-foot-1, it isn't often that Shaquille O'Neal is looking up at someone. Over the years there have been a number of instances where celebrities and other professional athletes are pictured looking pint-sized next to the Hall of Famer.

From Hasbulla and Kevin Hart to Simone Biles and Cristiano Ronaldo, O'Neal stands over nearly everyone he encounters. The exception? Florida Gators freshman Olivier Rioux, who is listed at 7-9 on ESPN.

According to his bio on the Florida Gators' site, Rioux holds the Guinness World Record for tallest teenager, eclipsing the 7-foot mark before turning 13.

In a video posted by Shaq and Hot Freestyle, a Hip Hop, Sports & Entertainment page on Instagram, Shaquille O'Neal pretends to get in someone's face before turning around and coming face to face with Rioux.

Will Olivier Rioux wind up following in the footsteps of Shaquille O'Neal and other NBA 7-footers?

While Olivier Rioux may be 7-9, don't expect the Florida big man to wind up being a one-and-done NCAA player who declares for the NBA draft at the end of his freshman season.

Despite his height, and his innate rim-protecting ability, Rioux hasn't seen the floor yet. After playing bench minutes during his high school career, Rioux's journey to the NBA could look like Shaquille O'Neal's simply in terms of how much time he spends at the NCAA level.

The Hall of Famer and four-time NBA champ was playing big minutes from his freshman year at LSU, however, unlike players who made the jump from the NCAA level to the NBA level after just one year, Shaquille O'Neal spent three years evolving as a player.

While Rioux will have to earn his minutes with Florida, if he continues to evolve as a player, and makes use of the minutes he does get, we could see him on an NBA trajectory in a few years.

Given that he's a freshman, the 2027-28 season would be his senior year with Florida, after which time he could declare for the NBA Draft.
