Even though coach Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes finished the season on a high note, they were still left out of the Big 12 Conference championship game. Their losses to Kansas State and Kansas cost them their ticket, even though they finished the regular season in a four-way tie for first place.

This was the final season in college for Coach Prime's kids, safety Shilo Sanders and quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who will be heading to the NFL the following season. With that in mind, Coach Prime shared an Instagram snapshot of himself and his three sons.

"It's a beautiful thing," Sanders wrote.

Notably, Dwyane Wade, also a proud father and former professional athlete, shared the pic on his Instagram story with an emotional caption, knowing how big of a moment this may have been for Sanders:

Deion Sanders will intervene in the NFL Draft if his son doesn't get drafted to the right team

The Buffaloes will have two players who will most likely be picked inside top three in the NFL Draft. Heisman contender Travis Hunter is projected to be the first-overall pick, and QB Shedeur should be taken shortly after.

Deion Sanders wants them to get to a place where they can thrive and if not he'll intervene.

“Yeah, but I’m not going to do it publicly. I’ll do it privately,” Sanders said on FOX Sports when asked what will he do if Shedeur Sanders isn't drafted to a better equipped team. “I’m gonna be Dad until the cows come home, and with Travis as well.”

This isn't the first time that Sanders has threatened to pull his strings to get his son to the right spot. He wants him to join a team with a track record of developing quarterbacks.

“Somebody that can handle the quarterback he is and somebody that can handle, understanding what he’s capable of,” Sanders said. “Someone that has had success in the past handling quarterbacks or someone and an organization that understands what they’re doing.

"Not just throwing you out there amongst the wolves if you don’t have the support and the infrastructure of the team. Forget the (offensive) line. He’s played with lines that weren’t great but he’s been able to do his thing. But just the infrastructure of the team and the direction of where we’re going.”

Needless to say, teams picking at the top won't necessarily be great right out of the gate. Still, both Hunter and Sanders figure to be difference-makers right out of the gate, and it'll be interesting to see their journeys in the pros.
