Dwyane Wade, his wife, Gabrielle Union, and their daughter Kaavia James were in attendance to support Olympic medalist Jordan Chiles and the UCLA Bruins in their opener. Chiles and the Bruins team had a convincing win against Illinois on Saturday.
Even before the Saturday opener, Chiles had made a big call, asking fans to show up in the arena to support the team. Union, who is herself a UCLA alumna, made sure she answered the call. Apart from Dwyane Wade and Union, the celebrity couple were also joined by actress friend Taraji P. Henson.
Both Union and D-Wade made a series of posts on their social media, giving big highlights from the big day at Pauley Pavilion. In one of the posts that the former Miami Heat star made, his wife and daughter both posted with the UCLA gymnastics team.

In another post, Wade posted a video of Chiles performing her perfect sequence and reacted with a fire emoji in the caption.
Gabrielle Union also made a series of posts on her Instagram story. In one of the posts she made on her IG story, she reposted a post by @ucla. Union and Henson posted with Chiles.
"Stars are in the building ✨," the posts said in the caption.
In another IG story, Union again reposted a picture from a @ucla post featuring Dwyane Wade, NFL quarterback Matthew Stafford, Henson and herself posing with star Jordan Chiles.
Chiles and the Bruins defeated Illinois by 197.200 to 194.750.
Meanwhile, D-Wade and Union have previously shown support for Chiles when she was in Paris last year to compete in the Olympics. Although she won a gold medal at the Olympics as a member of Team USA, she lost her gold medal in floor exercise after two consecutive controversial calls by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union sends big message about family time
The family has always come first for Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade and his Hollywood star wife, Gabrielle Union. From cherishing small moments to celebrating big moments, the Wade family has kept their foot deep-rooted in their family values.
On Tuesday, Union posted a series of pictures on her Instagram, celebrating family time with D-Wade and the closest ones during a wine-tasting event. However, it was her big message that remained more illuminating to her fans and followers.
"Reminder: Count the blessings, cherish the moments, love the ones who make it all worthwhile," Union captioned the post.
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have been together for almost 15 years now. They have continued to keep each other and their family as their primary focus despite their marital struggles.
