This message comes after the Los Angeles region was hit with wildfires in recent days, with innumerable people losing their homes in a tragedy that has taken down almost 12,000 structures.

Other celebrities have shown their support to the victims and 12 Los Angeles-area teams came together to donate $8 million to the people affected by the fires.

Fortunately, this tragedy didn't hurt the Wade-Union family directly and they've tried to give hope to those who lost valuable stuff during the fires.

Dwyane Wade reacted to LA fires before Gabrielle Union's Instagram message

During the most recent episode of his "The Why" podcast, the wind could be heard hitting the studio's roof as the three-time NBA champion discussed a topic. He and his co-hosts were shocked by the sound of the roof and asked if the Palisades were on fire.

The Miami Heat legend then talked about the experience of watching this whole situation unfold while sending prayers to those affected.

“Being here and then experiencing from afar the fires that has taken a lot of homes, a lot of lives, has shadow communities. This is one of the things about living in L.A. and this is one of just like Miami Hurricanes …
"So man prayers out to everybody, families, everybody who’s dealing with the fires right now,” Wade said. (18:35 mark)
