WTA star Emma Navarro recently posed with LeBron James during the Opening Ceremony for the 2024 Paris Olympics, posting the photo to her Instagram. Along with the photo, Navarro wrote a caption, quoting an iconic Instagram story post from James years back.
Along with the four-time NBA champ, Navarro can be seen with fellow WTA star Jessica Pegula, and Desirae Krawczyk. Over the photo, she wrote:
"Smiling through it all! Can't believe this is my life"

The caption, of course, was a tribute to James' famous pool selfie from many years ago, where he used the same caption, as seen below.
Over the years, the photo has become a meme, with LeBron James' son Bryce James also recreating the photo in the past while using the same caption.
Looking at the upcoming schedules for LeBron James and Emma Navarro at the 2024 Paris Olympics
While LeBron James will be competing in what many believe could likely be his last Olympics, Emma Navarro will be looking to earn her first Olympic medal with Team USA. Alongside some of the biggest names in professional tennis such as WTA star Coco Gauff and former ATP top-10 Taylor Fritz, Navarro’s first match is scheduled for Saturday, Jul. 27 against Julia Grabher of Austria.
Navarro will be playing in the women’s singles tournament exclusively, despite other members of the US Tennis team competing in several events such as doubles and mixed doubles. Should Navarro, who is ranked 15th in the world, make it to the quarterfinals, those matches will be played on Jul. 31, with semifinal action scheduled for Aug. 1, and finals scheduled for Aug. 3 and 4.
While her first match is scheduled for Saturday, Jul. 27, LeBron James’ first game with Team USA is scheduled for the following day on Jul. 28.
He and Team USA will be playing in Group C during the Group Phase of action alongside Serbia, South Sudan, and Puerto Rico.
Following their first game on Jul. 28, the team will be back in action on Jul. 31 when they face off with South Sudan following a closely-contested international friendly leading up to the Olympics. Last but certainly not least, James and Team USA will play their final Group Phase game on Aug. 3 against Puerto Rico, before the start of the playoffs on Aug. 6.
Playoff basketball action will then resume Aug. 8 with semifinal action, followed by the bronze and gold medal games on Aug. 10.
James and Team USA are currently heavy favorites to win the gold medal in the Olympic basketball tournament, with James being the frontrunner for Tournament MVP on sportsbooks. On the flip side, Navarro is tied for ninth place on DraftKings’ betting odds for the Women’s Olympic Tennis competition.
