Former Boston Celtics star Evan Turner engaged in a hilarious exchange with a fan on X, formerly Twitter, over Fox Sports 1 host Joy Taylor. Turner took to the platform on Sunday, seemingly expressing surprise over Taylor making headlines recently for being named in a sexual harassment lawsuit alongside Fox Sports executives.
Responding to Turner's post, a fan posed a hypothetical situation to the former NBA guard, to which he replied with a hilarious tweet.
"Joy Taylor, eh?" Turner tweeted.
"She tells you she can take care of you, what you sayin?" a fan asked.

"I’m saying I belong to Taylor," Turner replied.
This comes after a former Fox Sports employee, Noushin Faraji, a hairstylist, filed a lawsuit against the network over the weekend, alleging workplace misconduct during her tenure there from 2012 to August 2023. Faraji named Taylor, host Skip Bayless and executive vice president Charlie Dixon in the 42-page lawsuit.
Taylor joined Fox Sports in March 2016 and quickly rose to prominence in sports broadcasting. The 37-year-old is well known for her work on Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe's "Undisputed." Fox Sports Radio aired "The Joy Taylor Show" in September 2021 and also announced Taylor as the lead host of "Speak," a year later, alongside Paul Pierce, Keyshawn Johnson and Michael Irvin.
NBA fans react to Joy Taylor controversy
Following the news of the lawsuit against Joy Taylor and other Fox Sports executives, NBA fans were prompt to express their views on social media, with a fan even claiming former Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce to have played a part.
“There ain’t no way Paul pierce and key aren’t wrapped up in this somehow. There is no way they keep getting jobs for what they put on screen. They are the absolute worst,” a fan tweeted.
Other fans shared concern over the ongoing controversy at Fox Sports.
"If true, the really disturbing part is the planning to make false SA allegations if necessary," a fan tweeted.
"What in the world was going on at FOX Sports! Wow! SMH!" a fan tweeted.
"Joy was married from 2016 to 2017 so that makes it even crazier - don't blame the exec at all tho, it's joy taylor,” a fan tweeted.
"She was getting on tv by any means necessary," a fan tweeted.
"What the hell they got in the water over at fox," a fan tweeted.
None of the alleged have made any comment on the matter yet.
