Ex-Warrior Gilbert Arenas' girlfriend Melli Monaco drops 3-word reaction to step-daughter's Lynwood showcase

Gilbert Arenas and Melli Monaco got engaged earlier this year after a year of dating. While the ex-Golden State Warriors player has had children from his previous relationship, Monaco has not only accepted him with his children but also actively tried to be present for them.

On October 27, Monaco posted a video on her Instagram Story of her stepdaughter Hamiley Arenas playing basketball in her school. In the video, Monaco was seen sitting courtside cheering Hamiley.

Monaco shared the clip of Arenas' daughter making baskets one after another. From jump shots to layups, Hamiley kept scoring against her opponents. Monaco posted the video with a three-word reaction.

"My boo cooking," Monaco wrote.

Earlier this year in July, Sports Illustrated reported that Arenas' daughter would play for the Notre Dame Sherman Oaks in Los Angeles. Interestingly, Hamiley is not the only member among her siblings who is trying to make a career in basketball.

According to Sports Illustrated, Gilbert Arenas' eldest daughter Izela Arenas played high school basketball AT Sierra Canyon. She later signed with Louisville Cardinals for college basketball.

Arenas' son Alijah has been ranked as one of the top high school players in the country. He is a five-star prospect and has received offers from Arizona, Texas, Kansas and UCLA.

Melli Monaco surprised fiancee Gilbert Arenas with an engagement ring

It seems like Gilbert Arenas and Melli Monaco are breaking barriers. The couple have been together only since last year but they seem to be very sure about spending their lives together.

Arenas proposed to Monaco in Paris, in front of the Eiffel Tower. Although Monaco didn't get to say yes because Arenas said it on her behalf, the social media star didn't have a different answer either.

Monaco went a step ahead and trampled the conventions of engagement rings when she gave her fiancee an engagement ring too. In a video that Arenas posted on his Instagram handle, he sat on the couch and Monaco sat beside him with the engagement ring in her hand.

Posting the video, Arenas hilariously wrote in the caption that the event made him feel like a "baddie."

"@mellimonaco Surprised me with an engagement ring 🤯😏😏 Got me feeling like a #Baddie 🤷🏾‍♂️ City Boys they're giving us engagement rings now 💯😂," Arenas wrote.

What was even more hilarious in the video was Gilbert Arenas' reaction. As Monaco put the engagement ring on his finger, he started jumping around and proudly showed it to everyone around him with a big smile on his face.
