Russell Westbrook and the LA Clippers lost Game 3 against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday, and it was nothing less than a classic rivalry game. In the last few years, behind Luka Doncic, the Mavericks have become a classic upsetter for the Clippers despite having a deeper roster. As Westbrook and Doncic got chippy, leaked audio shows the Clippers star using explicit language against Doncic.
Earlier in the game, when Doncic scored with a mid-range over Kawhi Leonard, according to an X (formerly Twitter) user LegendZ, a professional lip leader, Doncic allegedly said:
“He is too f***ing small.”

Russell Westbrook is a known team player, and perhaps this was one of the reasons that, later, things got heated between him and Doncic. The trash-talking started before halftime when Westbrook slapped the ball away from Doncic’s hands. While Doncic was furious for not getting the foul call, the Clippers star was also hyped up.

Luka: "Come on man!"
Westbrook: "Motherf***er!"
The saturation reached its highest level in the fourth quarter when Westbrook received the second flagrant foul of the night. With just over six minutes remaining on the clock, Westbrook was guarding Doncic.
As soon as the Slovenian star drove towards the basket, it appeared that Westbrook pulled Doncic’s arms with force.
Upset with the referee's call, the 2017 MVP seemed very furious.
“F**k that sh*t!” Russ was seen shouting at the referee. “Man f**k that! He is flopping.”
After the reply, Russell Westbrook received the second flagrant foul (he had received his first in the second quarter) and was eventually ejected from the game. He played only 19 minutes and exited with one point, one steal, one assist and two blocks.
Mavericks fans booed Russell Westbrook for missed shots
Russell Westbrook had more flagrant fouls and turnovers than his total points in Game 3 against Dallas.
Every time Westbrook took the ball to shoot, the Mavericks fans in American Airlines Center kept on booing him. He missed all seven shots he attempted from the field and four shots he attempted from the three-point line.
The Mavericks are leading the series 2-1 and the Clippers must react strongly in Game 4. Whatever the result, the series has been one of the most interesting ones in the opening round, and it will only get better.
