Fans jokingly react as LeBron James’ wife Savannah James links up with his super fan Rihanna - "All I can think about is Riri courtside" 

LeBron James' wife, Savannah James, and his superfan Rihanna linked up at an event on Sunday. The ladies caught up with Rihanna's boyfriend, rapper ASAP Rocky's launch of his furniture studio Hommemade's collaboration with Gufram. The pop star and Lakers superstar's wife shared a warm embrace at the launch as they seemingly met after a long time.

Rihanna's frequently made it to LeBron James' Miami and Cleveland games, where the nine-time Grammy Award winner donned his jerseys. Fans were quick to recollect the connections between her and LeBron from those days after her meet-up with Savannah went viral.

Rihanna's fandom for LeBron James has never been understated. From her public appearances at games to rocking the NBA star's jerseys and giving him shout-outs on social media, the pop star has been vocal about her admiration for the four-time MVP. Rihanna was among the first people to congratulate LeBron when he won his first title with the Miami Heat in 2012.

One of her other well-known moments features her 2016 sun tan lotion post, in which she drew LeBron's jersey No. 23 on her stomach and tagged the former Cavaliers star on Instagram.

Rihanna also threw shade at Steph Curry the same year after LeBron James and the Cavaliers stormed back to win the 2016 NBA Finals despite a 3-1 deficit. She posted Curry's pic with a caption that said:

"Ballin bigger than Lebron" they said"

Rihanna's arguably most viral social media moment occurred when she called LeBron James "bae" (before anyone else), a slang used by two people in a relationship to address each other.
