Blake Griffin is pursuing interests off the court following his retirement from the NBA in April last year. He spent 14 years in the league but is looking ahead to his next venture as an analyst on Amazon's new NBA studio show.
According to reports, Griffin will join 14-time NBA All-Star and Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki, along with a prominent sports journalist, Taylor Rooks. On Sunday, fans reacted to the cast of the new show on X, formerly called Twitter.
"This is actually gonna be a fun show," one fan commented in support. "Great personalities."

You just know Blake Griffin is gonna hit on Taylor Rooks eventually one way or another," a third fan comically posted.
Some fans didn't share the excitement for the upcoming sports show, though.
"I mess with (Dirk Nowitzki), but we aren't watching this," a fan posted.
"Weak," another bluntly commented.
"Best they could do," a third fan questioned.
Amazon to start inaugural season with studio coverage from Blake Griffin, Dirk Nowtizki and Taylor Rooks
Amazon's new show comes after the company had landed the broadcasting rights to the NBA, signing an 11-year, $19 billion deal in July. Amazon will begin its new NBA package ahead of the 2025-26 season. Per reports, Amazon will also feature 66 games on Amazon Prime for streaming next season.
The NBA will conclude its deal with TNT, including moving one of the league's staple programs, Inside the NBA, to ESPN, sustaining its cast of Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal. Amazon's show will offer a similar dynamic to Inside the NBA with analysis from their crew, Dirk Nowitzki, Taylor Rooks and Blake Griffin.
The shift in broadcasting rights ensures the NBA will be locked down until the 2036-37 season. As it continue to build its team in preparation to move into the NBA landscape, Amazon has begun targeting fan-favorite play-by-play commentator Ian Eagle to lead its game coverage duties, according to reports from October.
