Former Philadelphia 76ers forward Furkan Korkmaz has reportedly decided to leave NBA and take his talents to the EuroLeague. According to Forbes' Evan Sidery, Korkmaz has inked a deal with EuroLeague's AS Monaco. The 27-year-old will part ways with the NBA after spending six-and-a-half years in the league.

"Furkan Korkmaz is signing an overseas contract with EuroLeague’s AS Monaco. Korkmaz spent seven years with the Sixers before being traded to the Pacers in February and immediately released," Sidery tweeted on Sunday.

Hoops fans candidly reacted to Korkmaz joining forces with AS Monaco. One of the X users dropped a cheeky reaction on the two-time Turkish Cup winner's decision to leave the NBA.

Furkan Korkmaz was drafted by the 76ers in 2016 with the 26th pick. He made his NBA debut during the 2017-18 season.
