Basketball fans shared candid reactions after Giannis Antetokounmpo took direct shots at the Doc Rivers-led Milwaukee Bucks coaching staff on Sunday. Giannis’ strong comments followed the Bucks’ second consecutive loss, a 115-102 defeat to the Brooklyn Nets. After the game, the two-time NBA MVP stated that the Bucks lack a clear identity and don’t know how to approach each game.

“Right now, we don’t have an identity," Giannis said after the game. "Like, how are we going to win the game? Are we going to defend for 48 minutes? Are we going to move the ball for 48 minutes?
"Are we going to attack and play fast for 48 minutes or 36 minutes and slow down in the last 12? We gotta find an identity. We don’t have that right now."

After Giannis voiced his frustration, fans shared unfiltered reactions, with many placing the blame on assistant coach and former Lakers coach Darvin Ham.

"Fire darvin ham," a fan wrote.
"Doc’s assistant knows the identity," wrote another fan.
"Doc and Ham coaching is set up for failure. Giannis and Dame have no chemistry, Dame just out there shooting looking miserable," said another user.
"Yall got doc rivers and darvin ham .. you won’t find an identity," wrote another.
"The new assistant you hired definitely has an identity," a fan commented.
"Darvin Ham effect," another X user commented.

Giannis urges team to be better in every aspect

With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard on the roster, many basketball pundits and fans believe that the Milwaukee Bucks should be contending for the NBA championship. However, Doc Rivers’ squad has struggled, despite the season still being in its early stages.

The Bucks have endured two disappointing losses in their first three games, falling to two relatively average teams, the Chicago Bulls and most recently, the Brooklyn Nets. After the loss against the Nets, Giannis urged his team to be better in all aspects of the game.

“We gotta play better, We gotta improve our offense. We gotta improve our defense," said Giannis. "We’re not playing. We’re not playing well. At all. We have to be better. It doesn’t matter if it’s Game 1, Game 3, Game 50. We gotta keep coming together as a team.
"Keep on taking care of the ball. Keep on being aggressive. Find ways to play faster. I think we’re too stagnant. We’re playing too slow. Find a way to play faster. In our run lanes, run. Create shots for our shooters. Make something happen."

Through three games, Giannis has delivered impressive numbers, averaging 28.3 points on 66.7% shooting, along with 12.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game.
