LeBron James and Steph Curry are the closest friends in the NBA today. However, for those who witnessed their rivalry in the early 2010s, they weren't exactly as close as they are today.
Former Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers shared his observations on James and Curry's relationship over the years.
Myers shared that when LeBron and Steph constantly faced off in the NBA Finals, the two superstars didn't like each other. Curry even revealed to sports reporter Malika Andrews that he and James had a petty relationship on the court.
However, these days, James and Curry have the utmost respect for one another and grew even closer after the 2024 Paris Olympics.

"LeBron (James) and Steph (Curry) didn't have much of a relationship, I think, when they were going at it in the Finals," Myers said. "I think they're friendly now. The Olympics helped that. I think there's a great respect. There may have been some dislike early. There was pettiness early. ... I think that's all gone. I think they look at each other kind of as mutuals and respect."
