Jimmy Butler vowed to take 2024-25 season more seriously
Over the past few seasons, Jimmy Butler has developed a reputation for showing up to NBA media day with the most bizarre looks. One of his most memorable media day looks was from last year when he showed up with an early 2000s emo-inspired hairstyle, complete with eyeliner and black nail polish.
This year, however, Butler kept it simple on media day, opting for a normal look. He also declared that he would take the season more seriously.
"I'm here. No shenanigans," Butler told the media after coming out with a normal look.
Jimmy Butler has been solid so far this season, delivering solid numbers similar to last year. Through 13 games, Butler is averaging 19.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 53.1% — the second-best mark in his career.
Butler's efforts have helped the Miami Heat notch a 9-8 record entering tonight's game against the Raptors. Their record places them fifth in the Eastern Conference.
