Dating back to the summer, Anthony Edwards and Justin Jefferson have teased the recreation of an iconic photo. As their picture officially surfaces, fans have flooded social media with countless reactions.
On Tuesday morning, the photo of Edwards and Jefferson appeared on the cover of ESPN magazine. The two Minnesota stars put their spin on a photo Randy Moss and Kevin Garnett did decades ago.
Once the photo of Edwards and Jefferson hit social media, fans immediately began pouring in with their thoughts. Some are already penciling in the two young stars making their way to Boston like KG and Moss did.

This photo surfaces midway through Jefferson's fifth year with the Minnesota Vikings. Through his first six games, the three-time Pro-Bowler has already racked up over 600 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
As for Edwards, he will begin his fifth NBA season this week. He'll look to keep his momentum rolling after leading the Timberwolves to the conference finals and winning a gold medal in the Olympics this summer.
Anthony Edwards shows off football skills during photo shoot with Justin Jefferson
While Anthony Edwards took part as the basketball star in this recreation, he likes to let the world know he's skilled on the football field as well. He made sure to showcase his talents while he and Jefferson were doing this photo shoot.
In his story breaking down Edwards and Jefferson getting together to put a modern twist on the KG/Randy Moss cover, Jamal Collier shared a small tidbit from the Timberwolves star. The former No. 1 pick wanted to show everyone his throwing skills by throwing a football through a basketball hoop. Edwards was so confident in his abilities that he was showboating before the ball even went in.c
"I don't just be talking," he yells, just before the ball swishes through the net. "I DON'T JUST BE MOTHERF---ING TALKING."
It's no secret that one of Edwards' goals is to one day transition to the NFL. He has spoken about it on numerous occasions, most recently earlier this month. The former No. 1 pick claimed that if he's able to win a ring with the Timberwolves in the next few years, he's going to become a two-sport athlete.
Last season, Edwards emerged as a superstar talent. He averaged career-highs in points (25.9) and assists (5.1) in the regular season and got Minnesota to the conference finals for the first time in 20 years. The road to a title won't be easy, but he's shown he's capable of elevating his game on the big stage.
